We are a charitable organisation which aims to encourage and support study, research, publication and interest in History, particularly in Canterbury, and to promote awareness of the social value of History in our community.

We are an incorporated society and a Registered Charity (CC45220). Donations may be made at any time to help support the promotion of History in Canterbury. All donations are tax-deductible.

The Canterbury History Foundation is pleased to announce the following event:
History in Our Countryside: full day history bus tour
This history bus tour will include visits to Cust Museum; Church of St James’-on-the-Cust; Cust Country Pub; and Oxford Museum.
- When: Sunday 1 March 2026, 9.30am-5pm
- Cost: $50 pp payable to Frieda Looser History Ltd (lunch not included)
